- To promote greater awareness and consciousness of a progressive and improved lifestyle among members of The Tisco General Co-Operative service.
- To do such other things or provide such facilities or services as may be necessary, incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objects.
- To appoint or act as a representative or agent for the purpose carrying on with the business of the Society.
- To raise funds by obtaining loans and deposits from members and non-members subject to the Act and the By-laws.
- To frame administrative policies and rules and such other regulations as may be required for the proper conduct of the Society’s business.
- To do all other things as may be necessary, incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the objects of the Society subject to the prior approval of the Registrar.
Who Can Be The Member Of Society?
Any person who is a permanent employee of TATA STEEL.
How Can One Join The Society?
You have to fill up the membership form which is available in our society office. With the membership form you have to enclose last three months' salary slip. (Salary slips will be returned) If you were a member of any society before applying for our membership you have to also submit the NOC from that society. The Management committee will approve the same and you will be enrolled as a member of the society .
MEMBERSHIP
When you become a member of The TISCO General Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., you are allotted one share of Rs. 10/- only. But this gives you a right to participate in the management process of the organization through the A.G.M. You can otherwise also post your suggestion for improving the functioning of the society. Our society functions like a well oiled machine and we understand each other so well that we have spontaneously started treating our members as part of “The Tisco General Cooperative Credit Society Ltd.”. Because of the avowed objective of this initiative when we committed our selves to ensure welfare of our membership through financial support we are improving the standards of life and rendering all possible technology driven financial services under one roof.
